The U-Reach SA250 is a portable duplicator for quick and easy copying and sanitizing of SAS and SATA hard drives or SSD's. Due to the compact dimensions, the SA250 duplicator can be used at any desired location. The SA250 duplicator has a "Source" SAS/SATA port and a "Target" SAS/SATA port. This allows the SA250 to make one copy of a SAS or SATA drive at a time.
The SA250 duplicator offers a maximum copy speed of 18 GB per minute (300 MB/s). The SA250 HDD duplicator offers four different copy functions; "Quick Copy", "All Partitions Copy", "Percentage Cop" and "Whole HDD Copy". The Quick Copy function supports the following formats; FAT16 / 32, exFAT, NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX).
A special feature of the SA250 duplicator is the Event Log function; extensive production information such as copy time, connected HDD models, capacity, serial numbers and results PASS/FAIL) can be saved and exported via the USB port.
Optional adapters are available for the SA250 SAS/SATA duplicator which allow various drive interfaces to be connected to the SA250's SAS/SATA ports. Adapters are available for IDE, mSATA, eSATA, iVDR, M.2 (NGFF) and Cfast, among others.
In addition to duplicating, the SA250 duplicator can also be used to sanitize hard drives and SSD's. Five Erase functions are available for this; "Quick Erase," "Full Erase," "DoD Erase," "7-Pass DoD Erase" and "Secure Erase". The DoD Erase function complies with the 5220.22-M US Department of Defense standard.

U-Reach SA250 portable hard disk duplicators are able to duplicate to all SAS/SATA ports simultaneously with a maximum speed of 18 GB/min. The speed always remains constant, even if the number of media to be duplicated increases.
The U-Reach SA250 offers a built-in Log Report function which saves the data of each duplicated or sanitized SAS/SATA HDD or SSD (duration, copy/sanitize mode, result and serial number). The log information can be exported to a USB stick for use on a PC.
The "Quick Copy" function only duplicates the existing data area on an NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) FAT16/32 or exFAT partition. The duplication process can be accelerated considerably in most cases. Other not supported data formats can also be duplicated with the "Whole Media" copy function. This will duplicate the entire content in a bitwise operation.
The U-Reach SA250 duplicator supports several methods to erase hard drives and SSD's:
Quick Erase: Only overwrite FAT. Full Erase: Overwrite the entire data carrier. DoD Erase: Multiple cycles, complies with the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard. DoD 7-pass Erase: 7 cycles, complies with the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard. Secure Erase: A NIST 800-88 supported method to securely sanitize modern drives (HDD and SSD).
The U-Reach SAS/SATA duplicators support the use of optional adapters for connecting additional interfaces. This makes it possible to use more than one media standard. Adapters are available for:

Log Report printer
The U-Reach TP eraser Log Report function stores data from each erased hard disk drive or SSD. This individual log data (duration, sanitization mode, result and serial number) can be printed directly to the optional label printer. The label printer is connected to the TP eraser via the RS232 port.
